Frustrating to spend a lot of time on a project (or anything else) only to have it amount to nothing.

Then, more time passes, and the frustration becomes less pressing.

Damn, that took unbelievably long to set up.

But now I can try to work on this facebook thing locally, instead of going through the agony of working on the joyent servers directly.

Update: Spoke too soon. Now PHP refuses to talk to MySQL. The fun...
